Description:

MMTS was retained by Hunnu Coal (a subsidiary of Banpu) in 2013 for our expertise in complex coal geology. Beginning with a geology review, the Altai Nuurs (AN) Project presented unique challenges due to it’s remote location and complex geology. With a successful geologic review and reconstructed coal model, MMTS provided a resource estimate.  Later in 2014, MMTS delivered an internal scoping study and PEA report for a potential open-pit coal mine. MMTS personnel worked closely with the Hunnu team in Canada, Mongolia, and Thailand to successfully advance the Project.
