Project Scope:

Review PEA mine plans, produce revised mine plans increasing grades, payback, and NPV.

Description:

MMTS was retained in late 2015 by Panoro Minerals Ltd. to review their Cotabambas and Antilla copper projects in Peru. Current PEA mine plans were facing capital hurdles and challenges with low grades and long payback periods. Operating with limited budget and short timeframes, MMTS experts were able to significantly improve project performance. From the Press Release dated Sept 22, 2015 “The results show strongly improved economics compared with PEA results announced on April 9, 2015 as the result of an optimized mine plan and processing cut-off grade strategy along with associated improvements to waste rock and tailings management.”

Panoro was able to reach their financing goal for Cotabambas in 2015 and continue to advance both projects.
