Description:

MMTS was retained in 2012 by CanAus Coal Ltd. now North Coal today. Early studies included resource estimates developed from historical drilling programs, conceptual mining studies, and early economic models. The studies determine that the Michel Creek Coking Coal Project (MCCCP) was a viable coal resource with minimal infrastructure investment required for start-up. In 2013, MMTS planned and managed an extensive exploration program. The program was delivered on time and on budget, and the program results exceed earlier estimates. Positive results advanced the project, and MMTS delivered a scoping study in 2014. In addition, MMTS is providing management and input on the MCCCP Environmental Assessment process. Including baseline studies, environmental monitoring, community and First Nations engagement.  MMTS continues to assist North Coal to develop their program to successfully permit the Michel Creek Coking Coal Project.
